Q2: Are you okay with working in a fast-paced environment?

A: I am okay with it and actually prefer it. Working somewhere hectic helps to keep me awake and alert. It also allows me to multitask and make the most out of my time at work. I feel these sorts of environments help me to work at my most productive.

Q3: Are you skilled at multitasking?

A: I am indeed. Multitasking is one of my strong suits and allows me to get more of my work done at once. It makes me feel like I achieved more at the end of the day when I am given a chance to multitask.

Q1: Are you good at working on a team?

A:  I am definitely a team player and prefer to work on a team. When the work is distributed among a team, it seems to make it smoother to accomplish. Because of this, it also makes the workday go by faster. This tends to make a friendlier and happier environment for both customers and employees alike.

Q2: What can you bring to this company?

A: I am a hardworking person and I pride myself on both my punctuality and my sense of responsibility. I always put my work first, meaning that I will never be late and always call out for emergencies only. I am very friendly and approachable which makes me good with customers.

Q3: Why do you want to work for Meijer?

Q1: Are you good at working with minimal supervision?

A: I am able to do that. I am good at motivating myself to start and engage in my work without supervision or being told to work. I hold myself accountable for everything and consider myself to be highly independent; this makes it easy for me to work unsupervised.

Q2: What does customer service mean to you?

A: Customer service means being attentive to customer needs, no matter how specific they might be. It means listening to customer concerns and helping them get to the root of their problems. Customer service means treating each person like an individual and like I would want to be treated in their shoes.

Q3: What would you do if you had to deal with an irate customer?

A: If I had to deal with an angry customer, I would first listen to their problem. Then, I would try to get to the root of it. If I not able to make them feel satisfied with the resolution, I would get help from a manager.

A: I like being a manager because it feels good to know I am helping someone else succeed. I am a natural leader, so being a manager comes easily to me.

Q2: What do you think makes a good manager?

A: I think a good manager knows when to be a friend and when to be a supervisor. They are also meant to be more like a leader and less like a boss; managers should be willing to do the same kind of work as their employees.

Q3: What would you do if your employee did not want to complete a task?

A: I would give them a chance to explain why they did not want to. Then, I would explain that it is a task that I, myself, would do as a manager. I would give them another chance to do it. If they did not, I would issue a warning.
